Well they put Trinidad and Tobago on the map. Lots of people were cheering on for us as we were the smallest nation in the World Cup in Germany this year. We did pretty good, but didn't make it to the second rounds. There is the next World Cup right?

I was installing some software at work last night on a MacBook, and realized that when a CD is inserted the vibrations from the drive is felt on the case, unlike in a PowerBook or a MacBook Pro where you barely feel it. That's reason enough for me not to get one even though I rarely use optical media.

My dad brought up about 20 8mm camcorder tapes from the nineties. My task is to put them on DVD, so I sprung for a 750GB Seagate drive and nice enclosure, which does FireWire and USB (in the sad event I need to use it on a PC). Should make for some fun times, and now I finally have space to back my PowerBook's hard drive up and do a reinstall.

On the job front, things are bleak... Not too much stuff going on in the actuarial world, I couldn't get the Genius position in the Apple store I work at... Hmm the job hunting continues...
